Solder Paste Printing for Smart Mirror PCBs | DZOPTO
One SMT step behind OEM and ODM touch switches, power supplies and LED strip boards.
DZOPTO supplies touch switches, power supplies, LED strips and demister films for smart mirrors. OEM and ODM orders are built on SMT, inspection and optical test. This page explains the first SMT step: solder paste printing.
See the cooperation models on OEM & ODM Smart Mirror Electronic Components and the option list on the customization page.
Where printing sits in the line
A board goes through solder paste printing, component placement, reflow, AOI and functional test. Printing puts paste on the pads. If volume or position is wrong, placement and reflow inherit the defect.
Production uses GKG solder paste printing equipment for the compact PCBs used in mirror electronics. Alignment and paste volume are controlled before the board moves to placement.
Which products use this step
Split and integrated touch controllers, including LTZN-03D-SX
Slim DC12V power boards, including the 15 mm LTZN-12V series
LED strip related control boards
Custom OEM boards built to a customer drawing
These assemblies go behind bathroom, vanity and cabinet glass. They are not finished mirrors.
What printing is meant to control
Paste on the pad, not across two pads
Enough paste for a joint, not a bridge
Repeatable results from sample to bulk lot
Typical printing defects this step is used to reduce: insufficient paste, misalignment, skip print, excess paste and bridging.
What this means for an OEM or ODM order
For OEM, the pad layout is yours. Printing follows that layout after the stencil is approved.
For ODM, printing follows the current LTZN platform. Function changes that stay on the same board outline usually do not need a new stencil; a new outline does.
